Laois Walks Festival 2026: Abbeyleix Walks include 2 Walks. Walk 1 is a 3km looped Bog Walk. This will be an easy-going evening walk through Abbeyleix Bog guided by a local wildlife expert who will give short talks on the history & ecology of the Bog. Walk 2 is a looped 8km Walk following the Killamuck Loop which is a mixture of forest paths, quiet lanes, bog paths & a bog bridge. These walks are not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.
